What to include in an inquiry
A short note with these five points is enough for a first response with the right drawing.
- Vehicle class, mass budget and existing manipulator
- Rail voltage and comms (CAN or TTL)
- Task: hold, cut, place, recover or sample
- Required reach and the object to be gripped
- Timeline and number of units
Evaluation units
Integrators and research groups can request an evaluation arm for a platform trial. Include the vehicle and the deployment window in your note.
Before you write
Three questions we always ask.
What carries the arm?
Mass and mounting decide the model more often than axis count. Send the skid drawing if you have one.
What powers it?
10–32 V covers most inspection vehicles; the Duo accepts 10–60 V for 48 V rails.
Who flies it?
A pilot with SubArm Ctrl, or an autonomy stack over ROS 2. Both use the same command layer.
